PVHS Golf Ready For States

The Penobscot Valley HS golf team in Howland has earned one of the spots in Saturday's State Team Golf Championship. Four of the five players competing on Saturday are girls. That may be a new record for high school golf.

Coach Michael Clendenning(Barnes Brook CG) and his Howlers team tied for third place in the PVC Championship last week. That that gets the team into the Class C state championship at Natanis CG on Saturday.
