Bangor Rams senior Jesse Colford pitched five innings of solid relief and also hit a two run home run to lead the Rams to an 8-4 win over Hampden Friday night.

The win improves Bangor to 13-0. Hampden falls to 6-7.

Colford came on to pitch in the second inning with the bases loaded and nobody out. He got the Rams out of that jam and worked five innings of two run ball.

In the fifth inning, Colford ripped a home run as part of a five run inning.

Ryan Brookings also hit a home run for the Rams.

Billy Campbell was Hampden's leading hitter with three hits.

Note: Bangor softball defeated Hampden 7-1. The Rams improve to 9-4. The Broncos are now 5-8.
