Rams Wins Semi 5-0 [PLAYOFF SCORES]

Bangor HS junior pitcher Peter Kemble pitched a four hit shutout while the offense came up with one big inning and the Rams beat Brewer 5-0 to earn a spot in the Class A North Region title game.

Bangor will face Edward Little in the championship game on Tuesday. EL beat Mt. Ararat 5-4 in the other semi-final.

Kemble and Brewer junior pitcher Jack Corey were locked in a scoreless duel through 4 1/2 innings. But the Rams took advantage of two walks, two hit batters and a wild pitch in the fifth inning. Then George Payne delivered a RBI hit and Trevor DeLaite added a two run single.

The Rams added an insurance run in the sixth.

On the mound, Kemble was brilliant. He throw just 70 pitches (54 strikes) in the complete game win.
