The Bangor hockey team will have one of its biggest challenges of the season today when they host the #1 team in Western Maine, Scarborough Red Storm,Bangor will play four of the top five teams in the west this season and so far have a 2-1 record against those teams. They come into todays game with a 10-2 record after getting wins over Falmouth and Gray-New Gloucester this week. The Rams offense has been stout all season with an average of 5 goals per game.

Scarborough is sporting a 10-2-1 record and have posted wins over top teams such as Lewiston, Falmouth, St. Doms, and Thornton Academy. The Red Storm have four players with at least 20 points on the season, led by Jake Gross who has 9 goals and 15 assists for 24 points.
