The Bangor Rams went into the Hampden Academy gym Friday night and did something that had not been done for 62 games - beat the Broncos.

The Rams stopped the streak with a 57-47 victory. It's Bangor 4th win of the year (4-10). Hampden slips to 12-2.

The Broncos win streak dated back to the old gym. It is the first loss in the gym at the new Hampden Academy school.

The two teams were tied 25-25 at the half. The Rams had a slim three point lead after three quarters and finished with a 19-12 run in the fourth quarter.

Damien Vance led Bangor with 27 points. Ian Nagle had a double-double with 10 poitns and 13 rebounds.

For the Broncos, Ian McIntrye scored 17 points and Jon Wolfington added 12.

Hampden is playing without freshman Bryce Lausier who broke his wrist during practice earlier in the week.
