The Bangor high school hockey team lost for the first time Saturday night, falling to Falmouth 3-2.The Rams came in as the number one team in the east, while the Yachtsman were ranked second in the west. After a scoreless first period the offense came alive in the second.

Bangor scored a powerplay goal early in the period off a deflection by Carl Farnham but the lead was short lived as Falmouth tied it up 14 seconds later.

Each team would add another goal before the period ended making it a 2-2 score to start the third period. With 5:39 remaining in the game William Mullin took a pass while streaking down the middle of the ice and fired it into a nearly wide open net for the game winner.

Bangor drops to 6-1 with the loss and are off until Saturday the 12th when they host Thornton Academy. Falmouth improves to 6-2 with the win.
