Former Portland Seadog pitcher Anthony Ranaudo got his first pro shutout today - a five inning, two hitter and an 8-0 win for the Pawtucket Red Sox over Lehigh Valley. Another former Dog, Bryce Brentz, provided all the offense needed with a grand slam.

Ranaudo is now 2-2 with a 3.77 ERA after the rain shortened win.

Brentz is hitting .261 with four homers.

The Pawsox are 16-11 in AAA International League. The rotation includes most of the top arms in the Red Sox farm system with Ranaudo, Ruby De La Rosa, Brandon Workman, Matt Barnes and Allen Webster.
