Over 76,000 people watched the Boston Bruins beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 in the NHL Winter Classic Outdoor Game at Notre Dame Stadium. It was the second largest crowd ever to watch a New Year's Day outdoor game.

The Bruins and Blackhawks put on a great show.

Twice Chicago grabbed a one goal lead and twice the Bruins came back to tie the game.

David Pastrnak scored his 23rd goal of the season to tie the game 1-1.

Patrice Bergeron scored his 12th goal to tied the game 2-1.

Then just over halfway through the third period, fourth liner Sean Kuraly scored the game winner on this play...

Brad Marchand added a last minute empty-net goal to make it a 4-2 final.

Tuukka Rask was outstanding in goal, stopping 36 shots to get the win in goal.

The Bruins improve to 22-14-4 and into a tie for third place with Buffalo in their division.
