The Boston Bruins had little fight in their match-up against rival Montreal and lose to the Canadiens 4-1 at the Garden.The Habs jumped out to a two nothing lead in the first period before the Bruins got on the board on Dougie Hamilton's 5th goal of the season.

After scoring a power play goal in the second period, coach Claude Julien pulled goalie Tuukka Rask who took out his frustration by slamming doors and breaking his stick. After the game Julien declined to give his reason for pulling Rask.

Daniel Briere had a goal and an assist to lead Montreal while Peter Budaj stopped 34 shots in net.

The loss ends the Bruins four game winning streak, next up is a game against Edmonton Saturday at Boston Garden.
