On the night of their last game before nine days off, the Boston Bruins lost the game, 3-2 to the New York Rangers, and they lost their starting goalie Tuukka Rask.

Rask has been playing his best hockey of the season and got in a collision with New York's Filip CHytil. Rask left with a concussion. Jaroslav Halak took over in goal.

The Bruins squandered five powerplay chances, including one that lasted four straight minutes.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist stopped 27 shots.

So the Bruins head into the bye week/All Star week with a 27-17-5 record that's puts them in third place in their division.
