Ready. Set. Tourney Time! [Heal Points]

Despite all those snowstorms and all the rescheduling of games, the regular season is over and it is Tourney Time. Among the great storylines heading into post-season is the chance for the Washburn girls to set schoolgirl history.

The MPA has issued the final Heal Point standings and in Class D East Girls, the Washburn Beavers are ranked #1 with an 18-0 record. They are the four-time state champion and no girls team has ever won five state title in a row.

The Washburn boys will also enter the tournament as a #1 seed.

Elsewhere, in Class A the Bangor girls and the Edward Little HS boys are the #1 seeds.

Class B, the undefeated MDI girls and Medomak Valley boys are ranked #1.

And in Class C, the Narraguagus girls and Calais boys begin the tourney as #1.
