It took 6 1/2 hours but it was worth it for Red Sox...A 5-1 win over the Twins and a three game sweep.

The Sox grabbed a 3-1 and John Lackey was cooking - allowing just one hit in six innings. Then it rained...and rained...for three hours.

Then they played again. And, Dustin Pedroia ripped a two-run homer to add insurance.

The Sox are now 27-17 and the Chicago White Sox are next.

Our monthly meeting of the Fenway Faithful Club convenes Tuesday evening at 6PM at Season's Grill on Main St in downtown Bangor. Join us for the live broadcast on Sportsradio 92.9TheTicket and 929theticket.com
