The UMaine men's basketball team lost at UMass Lowell 84-72 Thursday night. That means the Riverhawks finish their first year in America East at 8-8. Maine drops to 3-12.

Till Gloger led the Bears with 20. Antonio Bivins scored 24 for UML.

With one game left at the Cross Center Sunday against New Hampshire, the Black Bears are 5-22 overall.

The Riverhawks season is over at 10-18. During the school's transition to Division-1 they cannot participate in conference playoffs.
