Red Sox rookie Eduardo Rodriguez has been a bright spot in a frustrating season. However Sunday he had the worst outing of his young Major League career in a 13-5 win by Toronto. After going at least 6 innings in each of his first three starts, E-Rod could not make it out of the 5th inning after allowing 9 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks. After 3 shutout innings he hit the wall in the 4th as Toronto put a 6-spot on the scoreboard. They would add three more in the 5th before Rodriguez was pulled.

Ryan Goins had the hottest bat for the Blue Jays with 2 hits and 5 rbi. The win stretches the Jays win streak to 11 games while the Red Sox have dropped 6 in a row.

Boston made a late charge with 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning but could manage no more. David Ortiz launched a 3-run homer and Pablo Sandoval and Dustin Pedroia had 2 hits each.
