Rookie Scores Twice, Pats Win [VIDEO]

Six different receivers caught passes from Tom Brady who threw for 225 yards in a 23 – 3 win over Tampa Bay.Rookie Kenbrell Thompkins had three receptions, two of them for touchdowns. The Pats number 1 pick Aaron Dobson led the team with 7 catches for 52 yards. Stephen Gostowski provided the rest of the offense with a pair of field goals.

Jarod Mayo had 9 tackles to lead the defense while Aquib Talib came up with his third interception of the season.

The win puts the Pats record at 3-0, the first time in six seasons they’ve started a season with that record. Next week they play the Sunday night game at Atlanta.
