Saco Little League Plays For Maine

The Saco Little League All Star team represents Maine as pool play begins play at the New England Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut. The Saco 11-12's team won the state title last month and the winner of this regional tournament plays in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania later this month.

Saco plays four games in pool play and if the team can finish in the top-4 in New England it's on to a semi-final and perhaps the regional final.

The last Maine team to make it to the Little League World Series in Williamsport was the 2005 Westbrook all stars.
