Scarborough HS standout Ben Greenberg is 2014 Mr. Maine Baseball Award winner. The Fordham University bound Greenberg was a pitcher and hitter for the Red Storm. He becomes the 23rd winner of the John Winkin Award, named after the longtime Maine college coach.

He was 5-2 with a 1.18 ERA and hit .381 for coach Ryan Jones.

Greenberg was at Winkin Complex in Bangor Friday night to compete in the Senior East vs West All Star Game.

It is a clean sweep for Scarborough HS for the two big springtime awards. Red Storm senior Alyssa Williamson won the Miss Softball Award earlier this week.
