Scates Shines In Huskies Win

The University of Southern Maine baseball team imroved to 2-0 in the NCAA Northeast Regional with a 3-2 win over Tufts.Shyler Scates allowed two runs over 6.1 innings to get the win on the mound. Chris Bernard and Troy Thibideau each dorve in a run for USM who will take on Endicott at 4:30 today.

St. Joe's stayed alive in the regional by beating Worcester State 4-2 in an elimination game. The Monks will now play Mitchell College Friday afternoon.
