Hermon High School standout Jacob Godfrey has accepted a full scholarship to play Division II basketball in Pennslyvania.

The 6-foot-6 power forward will play at East Stroudsburg University. The Warriors play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

East Stroudsburg won the PSAC and made it all the way to the NCAA D-II Elite 8. The Warriors finished with a record of 27-6. Jeff Wilson has coached the Warriors for 16 years and was named PSAC Coach of the Year.

Godfrey won a Class D Maine state title with Machias in his junior year. Last season, as a member of the Hermon Hawks, Godfrey helped the Hawks to a Class B state championship and an undefeated season. He averaged 15 PPG and 10 RPG. Godfrey was a Mr. Maine Basketball semi-finalist and was selected to play in the Maine McDonald's Senior All Star Game.

George Stevens Academy guard Taylor Schildroth is going the prep school route to play at the next level.

Schildroth has decided to re-classify to the class of 2019 and will do a post graduate year at Nation Christian Academy in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Schildroth helped lead the GSA Eagles to three straight Class C state championships. He averaged 21 PPG, 7 APG and 5 RPG. Schildroth was a Mr. Maine Basketball semi-finalist and McDonald's All Star.
