sea-dogs-ranaudo1

Portland Seadogs pitcher Anthony Ranaudo will be the starter for Wednesday Eastern League Double-A All Star game in New Britain, Connecticut. The Red Sox farmhand has had a great season at Hadlock Field in Portland.

Ranaudo is 8-2 with a 2.67 with the Dogs. He will start the league allstar game Wednesday night at 7PM. Then on Sunday he will participate in the MLB Futures AllStar game at Citi Field in New York. The Futures Game is one of the events leading up to next week’s MLB allstar game at the Mets home field. Xander Bogaerts is also scheduled to play in that game.

The Seadogs and all of the Eastern League shut down for two days for allstar festivities (July 9th and 10th).
