Five hundred baseball fans from all over Maine have their tickets for January 15th "Evening With David Ross", presented by Allenfarm Fence Company. It is a sell out event set for the Gracie Theatre in Bangor.

The Ross event comes just weeks after the Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series - an improbable year of going for the worst team in the AL East to the best team in MLB. If you remember back to last year's off season, David Ross was one of the first free agent signings by GM Ben Cherrington.

Turns out Cherrington knew what he was doing. Ross was the starting catcher in 7 of the 11 post season wins for the Sox. His handling of pitchers is highly regarded around baseball and his key RBI hit in game five of the World Series may have the turnaround moment in the fall classic.

On Wednesday, January 15th David Ross will share some of his stories with Maine fans. In turn, Maine fans will get a chance to ask Ross questions in what should be a fun night in the middle of this wicked weather winter.

See you on the 15th!
