Skowhegan Defeats Brewer To Advance To North Final [BOYS]

The Skowhegan Indians won their battle of the Cinderellas with the Brewer Witches Wednesday night, advancing to the regional final this Friday at the Augusta Civic Center.

The No. 7 Indians defeated the No. 6 Witches 58-46 in the contest.

Carter Hunt led the Indians with 17 points -- including five three-pointers. Marcus Christopher had 16 points.

For the Witches, Trevor Pearson had 15 points, and Dylan Huff had 14 points.

It was a reversal of fortune for the Witches, who defeated Skowhegan twice during the regular season.

Brewer finishes its season at 10-10.

Skowhegan improves to 10-10 and will play in the Class A North final at 8: 45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22.
