The Boston Celtics playoff run took a giant step foward Friday night with a 99-90 win at Cleveland. The C's hold down the 7th spot in the Easter Conference with three games to play.

The Celtics don't want to hear about the Cavs resting allstar guard Kyrie Irving or the resting of Lebron James in the fourth quarter.

A win is a win. The Celtics are 37-43 and looking much stronger for a playoff spot.

Rookie Marcus Smart led the C's in scoring with 19. Isaiah Thomas had 17 and Avery Bradley 15.

The Celtics will host the Cavs tomorrow afternoon at Boston Garden. There is more speculation that that Lebron won't play as the team rests its stars in preparation for the playoffs. Cleveland is locked into the #2 spot in the east.
