It was a good news bad news night for the Boston Celtics in their summer league game against the Trail Blazers.The bad news is that Celtics second year player Marcus Smart left the game in the second quarter after dislocating right index and middle fingers. He also needed 5 stitches as a result of the injury. Witnesses said you could hear Smart screaming throughout the arena when the injury happened.

Smart will miss the rest of summer league play but should be healed in time for the start of Celtics training camp.

The good news for Boston is that they beat Portland 91-85 to remain unbeaten in the league improving to 5-0. They will play again on Saturday in a game against San Antonio.
