Smith 2TDs, Eagles Win 33-12

Husson Eagles tailback John Smith keeps adding to his school record rushing total. 164 yards and two touchdowns helped Husson to a 33-12 win over SUNY-Maritime in the conference opener.

Smith had TD runs of three yards and 21 yards.

QB Corey Brandon threw for 224 yards(13-for-26) and two TDs.

The Eagles offense racked up  438 yards while the defense allowed just 230.

Husson improves to 3-1 overall (1-0 ECFC). SUNY-Maritime is 2-2 (0-1 ECFC).

The Eagles return to Winkin Complex next Saturday to play Gallaudet University.
