Smith Signs Deal With Pats

Just days before the NFL draft the New England Patriots continue adding depth to their roster on the defensive side of the ball with lineman Will Smith.Several reports out of Boston say the Pats are set to finalize a deal with former Saint Will Smith who missed all of last season with a torn ACL. Smith is 33 years old and has played nine seasons in the league. Smith's signing could give the Pats a player that can pressure opposing quarterbacks from the inside where he has 67 career sacks in 139 games, including 13 in 2009, his best season as a pro.
