One of the reasons for the Boston Bruins dominating play has been the consistency of Jerome Iginla. That was the case on Saturday afternoon as his two goals helped the Bruins beat Washington 4-2.After a scoreless first period, Iginla got Boston on the board in the second with his 29th goal of the season. After a Carl Soderberg goal made it two nothing, Iginla would score his second of the game which turned out to be the game winner. Soderberg added two assists on the day giving him a career high 3-point game.

Chad Johnson picked up his 17th win of the season by making 223 saves. The Bruins improve to 51-17-6, clinches the Atlantic Division title, and increase their lead in the Eastern Conference to nine points over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Boston had no time to celebrate as they boarded a train after the game bound for Philadelphia where they play the Flyers Sunday afternoon at 12:30.
