Boston's two most reliable pitchers ran into trouble last night in Houston as the Astros beat the Red Sox 7-3.

Chris Sale struggled early in the game and finished the night going six innings, giving up four runs. It's his second straight loss.

Thanks to back to back home runs from Mitch Moreland and J.D. Martinez, the Sox were still in the game, trailing 4-3.

Enter Joe Kelley. He gave up three runs in a third of an inning. Kelley had retired 24 straight batters over recent games.

So two straight losses for the Sox in this four game set with the Astros and facing Justin Verlander tonight. David Price starts for (39-19) Boston.

NOTE: The Sox placed Mookie Betts on the 10-day Disabled List with an abdominal strain. And, second baseman Dustin Pedroia sat out a second straight game with a sore knee.
