Baltimore Orioles v Boston Red Sox Daniel Nava's 3-run home run and good pitching by Clay Buchholz was enough to give the Red Sox a 3-1 win in their Fenway Opener.The game was scoreless in the bottom of the 7th when Nava stepped to the plate and deposited a pitch over the green monster to put the Sox on the board with the only runs they needed.

Clay Buchholz was lights out for the second time in as many starts going 7 innings allowing just 3 hits and striking out 8.

Boston is now 5-2 on the season and have Tuesday off before resuming their series with Baltimore on Wednesday.
