Sox Celebrate ’75,Then Beat Rays 2-0 [VIDEO]

Mookie Betts clubbed two home runs, Rick Porcello pitched seven quality innings and the Boston Red Sox got back on the winning track with a 2-0 win over Tampa Bay.

The Red Sox were celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1975 Sox team that played Cincinnati in the World Series. Betts became the youngest Sox player since Jim Rice in 1975 to hit multiple home runs in a game.

The Sox had only five hits but Rick Porcello threw seven innings of shutout ball against the Rays. He scattered eight hits, didn't walk a batter and struck out six.
