John Lackey pitched seven quality innings as the Red Sox finally get a win against Baltimore 5-4. Mike Carp and Jonny Gomes hit home runs.

Lackey gave up just two runs in his seven innings of work. He gave up seven hits, struck out 4 and walked just one in picking up his fourth win of the year.

After Koji Uehara pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning, Andrew Bailey struggled in the 9th giving up two runs but held on for his 8th save.

On the injury front, first baseman Mike Napoli was sent back to Boston to have some medical tests to try and find out why he is dizzy and feeling nausea. He came out of the Thursday night game and has not played since.
