Minnesota Twins v Boston Red SoxSox rookie Allen Webster makes his second big league start tonight when the Sox meet Minnesota.                          Scott Diamond shut down the Red Sox over 7 innings to help the Twins earn a 6-1 win at Fenway ParkDiamond allowed just three hits over over his seven innings of work while Ryan Doumit provided much of the Twins offense with a homerun and double.

Sox catcher David Ross left the game in the 5th inning after colliding with Will Middlebrooks as the two went after a foul ball. Middlebrooks left in the 7th inning & was scheduled to get a CT scan as he experienced soreness on his side. Ross left the clubhouse with an icepack on his swollen knee.

The two teams play again Wednesday night with Allen Webster getting the start after being recalled from Pawtucket.
