The Red Sox spent 4-hours and 32-minutes losing 11-2 to the Tampa Bay Rays on Mother's Day. Oh yeah, it was downright cold, windy and rainy too.

And, they lost starter Drew Pomeranz to a triceps injury. He left after three innings.

The game stayed close until the 9th when the Rays exploded for seven runs against the Sox bullpen. Robbie Ross Jr. gave up three of them and Heath Hembree allowed the other four.

The Sox head out on a 6-game roadtrip at 19-18.
