The Boston Red Sox finish their historic regular season with a 10-2 victory over the New York Yankees and the final record stands 108-54, eight games better than the Yanks.

The Sox put their full lineup on the field to start the game for the first time this weekend and that lineup started ripping the ball. Four runs in the first inning, three in the second and another three in the fourth inning.

Mookie Betts batted twice and had one hit. He will win the batting title with a .346 average.

J.D. Martinez cranked a three-run home run. He finishes at .330, 43 HRs and 130 RBI.

Xander Bogaerts cranked a homer. He finishes with a career-best 103 RBI.

The AL East champion Sox wait to see if they will play the Yanks or the A's in the ALDS. The Wildcard game is live Wednesday night at 7:30pm on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and then the start of the ALDS Friday night, also on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
