Sox Rays Washed Out

  After losing their first series of the season, the Red Sox will have to wait another day to to get back in the win column as their series opener with Tampa Bay has been rained out.Manager John Farrell said Felix Doubront will be skipped in the rotation meaning that Jon Lester, Clay Buchholz and Ryan Dempster are lined up to pitch the next three games. No make-up date has been set for Friday's rain out.

The Portland Seadogs game at New Britain was also called off because of rain.
