The Red Sox beat the Cubbies 6-2 Sunday night when they scored four times in the 8th inning. The Sox take two out of three games against the world champs.

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 8th, Marco Hernandez started the rally, beating out an infield hit off Koji Uehara. Then Xander Bogaerts and Andrew Benintendi had basehits. A wild pitch, ground ball out and an error later and the Sox had four runs.

Matt Barnes got the win while Craig Kimbrel finished it up in the 9th.

Earlier in the night, Eduardo Rodriguez pitched well for six innings, giving up just one run.

Now 13-11, the Sox welcome the Baltimore Orioles to Fenway for a four game series beginning tonight.
