In his second tournament on the PGATour-China Tour, Bangor golfer Jesse Speirs made the cut and finished in 39th place.

Speirs played in the Chongqing Championship and finished the four-day event at 1-over par with a score of 289. He missed the cut in his tourney in China.

China's Yi Cao won the tournament in a playoff over England's William Harrold. Both finished the 72-holes at 14-under par.

Trevor Sluman, who played at the Greater Bangor Open Tournament last summer, finished in 8th place in China.
