Bangor's Jesse Speirs has his best finish of the year on the PGA Web.com Tour - a 20th place finish in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is projected to from #152 to #136 on the tour ranking.

Speirs shot a 3-under par 68 in Sunday's final round and finished the four day tourney at 15-under par. He earns $7,150 in prize money

The winner of the tournament was J.J. Spaun at 26-under par.

Speirs shot rounds of 68, 65, 68 and 68 for his 15-under par score.

The Knoxville tourney is his highest finish in 15 Web.com Tour events. His previous high was a tie for 23rd back in July.

The tour moves to an event in Oregon next week.
