Speirs Makes Web.com Tour Cut In Illinois

Bangor pro golfer Jessie Speirs shot a 3-under par 68 Friday in the second round of the PGA Web.com Tour in Illinois. His two day score of 4-under par should be enough to make the cut.

That means he'll play Saturday and Sunday and collect a paycheck.

It is the first time in five weeks he has made the cut in a Web.com Tour event.

Speirs started the tournament ranked #161 on the tour money list.
