Boston Bruins rookies David Pastrnak and Ryan Spooner are going to be in the playoffs afterall. Starting tonight they will skate for the Providence Bruins in the AHL playoffs.

The Baby Bruins finished as the #6 seed (41-26-7) and will play the #3 Hartford Wolfpack in a best-of-5 series.

Pastrnak, Spooner and defenseman Zach Trotman were all assigned to Providence once the Bruins missed out on the NHL playoffs.

NOTE:  One of the AHL Western Conference playoff matchups is Rockford vs Texas. That series features two former UMaine Black Bears facing off, Spencer Abbott(Rockford) and Devin Shore(Texas). That series starts Friday night.
