Sports Radio 92.9 To Broadcast Husson Athletics

Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and Husson University Athletics have entered into a radio partnership for the 2013-2014 season.

Beginning in September of 2013 and continuing through April 2014, Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket will provide coverage of Husson Athletics with a weekly coaches segment to air during the “Morning Pitch” with Dale Duff and Clem LaBree.

The weekly feature will provide an inside look into Husson Athletics and provide a platform for coaches to promote their respective sports, their players, recap previous week’s games, and look ahead to future scheduled contests. Additionally, The Ticket will provide live play-by-play game broadcasts for Husson football, basketball, baseball and softball throughout the year.

Husson’s Interim Director of Athletics Warren Caruso commented, “This partnership will further increase Husson University’s athletic programs’ exposure. We are excited by the direction in which 92.9 The Ticket is headed and being a part of their programming.”

Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket currently provides live coverage of many high school games and is Eastern Maine’s radio home for the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, NBA, MLB and other live events. “We look forward to working with the Husson University coaches and their teams as we help tell the story of Husson athletics,” says 92.9 The Ticket’s Brand Manager Dale Duff. “Live coverage of the talented student-athletes at Husson is an important part of our local sports commitment.”
