The Boston Celtics hung tough with the 10-1 San Antonio Spurs but in the end took a 104-93 loss.The Spurs were led by tony Parker who poured in 19 points while Tiago Splitter added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. San Antonio remains one of the hottest teams in the NBA as the victory was their 8th straight.

Boston has now lost five in-a-row despite 19 points from Jared Sullinger, Avery Bradley and Jeff Green, Sullinger also had a career high 17 rebounds. The Celtics return to the Garden for a game against the Pacers on Friday before heading back on the road for a couple more games.
