Lewiston's Isaiah Harris, Orono's Hannah Steelman and Casco's Kate Hall compete for NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships this week in Eugene, Oregon.

Harris is now a junior at Penn State. He is ranked second nationally in the 800M event. Harris is BIg 10 champion and Big 10 record holder in the 800M.

Earlier in the school year, Harris finished second in the NCAA Indoor Championship.

Is this his time?

They race the 800M event on Wednesday and the finals are on Friday.

Former Orono HS standout and now a freshman at Wofford College in South Carolina set school history when she qualified for the NCAA nationals in the 3000M Steeplechase event. No Wofford athlete had qualified for any NCAA event.

She competes in that event Thursday with the finals taking place on Saturday.

Now in her junior year at the University of Georgia, Hall is the NCAA Long Jump champion from 2017 and won the NCAA Indoor title earlier in the school year.

She goes for a fourth straight Long Jump NCAA title when she competes on Thursday.
