For the first time since 1969 the Boston Celtics have started the season 0-4 after a 95-88 loss to the Grizzlies in Memphis.Zach Randolph led Memphis with 15 points and 7 rebounds while Mike Conley and Jerryd Bayless each added 15 points.

Jeff Green had his best night of the season scoring a game high 22 points. Despite the loss, coach Brad Stevens talked after the game about the improvement they made as a team to go along with their solid effort.
