In a game that was fast paced and physical, Old Town used a strong 4th quarter to get past Ellsworth for a 51-40 win over the Ellsworth Eagles Wednesday night.The Coyotes outscored the Eagles 16-7 over the final 8 minutes with 7 of their points coming from the free throw line. That was the difference in a game that was close right from the opening tip a match-up of two pre-season favorites.

Old Town led by just 2 points after the third quarter but Chad Bartlett drained a 3 pointer and sank two free throws in the in the opening moments of the fourth that expanded the lead and forced the Eagles to rush their offense, leading to missed shots.

Bartlett also got the Coyotes rolling in the second quarter when he came off the bench and scored all 10 points for the team that took them from three points down to a one point lead at the half.

Bartlett finished with a game high 15 points and 8 rebounds while Andre Miller added 11 and Drew Coulombe 10 as the Coyotes improve to 3-1.

Bryce Harmon was the high man for the Eagles scoring all 9 of his points in the second half. Nick Bagley and Bruce St. Peter each added 8points for 2-1 Ellsworth.
