Sweet Named ECFC Player Of Week

Husson junior free safety Kenny Sweet has been named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his part in the Eagles 44-2 win at Alfred State Saturday afternoon.

Sweet(Portland HS, ME) tied a school record with three interceptions. He had 100 yards in interception returns. That gives Sweet 225 yards in the stat catagory and that's a new school record.

Sweet also had four pass breakups and four tackles.

Husson(1-1) held Alfred State to a total of 41 yards of offense.

DE Elvin Suazo wins ECFC Rookie of the Week honors. He had a team high four tackles.
