The Boston Celtics never did dig in on the defensive end last night against Detroit and it cost them. The Pistons beat them 121-114 at the Boston Garden.

Detroit shot a whopping 55% from the field and even 45% from the three point line. Four of the Pistons starters scored at least 20 points. Andre Drummond had 20 points and 17 rebounds to lead the way.

Meanwhile, the Celtics kept trying trying to bomb away from behind the three point line - a C's Garden record 42 of them (15-for-42, 35%). Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 27 points.

The Celts are now 10-8. The Pistons 10-10.
