Theo Epstein brings his Chicago Cubs to Fenway Park for a three game series this week with the Red Sox. Epstein left Boston and his GM duties in 2011 to become club president of the Cubbies.

Epstein's rebuilding of the Cubs continues to be a work in progress. They have the least amount of wins in MLB (34-46).

The Cubs best player is an old Boston farmhand, Anthony Rizzo. The first baseman is hitting .282 with 17 HR and 44 RBI. He was part of the deal to get Adrian Gonzalez from San Diego to Boston. The Padres eventually traded Rizzo to the Cubs when Epstein arrived on the scene.

Epstein became Red Sox GM back in 2002 and at age 28 was the youngest GM in the game. In 2004 he watched his Sox team will the first title for the Sox in 86 years.

The Sox series with the Cubs begins a 10-game homestand.
