Portland's Joe Esposito and Oak HIll's Dalton Therrien are among the dozen high school football seniors who are semi-finalists for the Fitzpatrick Trophy.

The Fitzy is awarded to the top senior player in Maine. The 12-player list will get pared down to 3 later this month. The winner will be announced at a banquet in January.

Along with Esposito and Therrien the list includes...Reid Shostak(Cony), Riley Robinson(Dirigo), Will Bessey(Brunswick), Connor Aube(Falmouth), Nate Pratt-Holt(Mt.Blue), Jack Bernatchez(Messalonskee), Levi Craig(Leavitt), Sam Peck(Greely), Austin McCrum(Thornton Academy), Mahlon Glidden(Scarborough).
