The Boston Bruins should have a very merry Christmas. A 3-1 win over Detroit Saturday afternoon sends the B's into the holiday break with four straight wins.

The Bruins got two goals from Patrice Bergeron and one from Brad Marchand. Tuukka Rask was brilliant again in goalwith 30 saves.

Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard, the former UMaine Black Bear, stopped 23 shots.

The win puts the Bruins are 19-10-5, tied with Toronto for second place in their division and with two games in hand over the Maple Leafs.

The B's are off until next Wednesday.
